Manaiakalani Film Festival

 Yesterday Glen Taylor School went to Hoyts Cinemas in Sylvia Park. In my team  was Wint , Fai ana , Tracey & Syc Our film"  A Message From Glen Taylor School" got chosen on the big Cinemas screen. We had to buddy up with a junior class Room 11 was parternerd up with Room 3. We also saw Tamaki College , Pt England , St Pius & St Patrick's films.

Fun Run - Breakfast Club

Roots Project Funvo 2020

Last week Monday room 11,12 & 13 had a Roots Project it was really fun, we played ripper and rob the nest and many more games. My favorite part was the ripper  because its really fun and I enjoy playing it. It was Red vs Green and I was in red and we both got a tie.

Food Tech

Yesterday at tech we made Crepes there like thin pancakes. We had to put on a apron and wash our hands and find a buddy to cook with then we had listen to Miss Heka well she tells us the rules about cooking and how were gonna make it. Crepes was really easy to make all you need is Flour , Sugar , Milk , Eggs & Oil. One person had to do the cooking well the other does the dishes and  then we had to  swap over ,  soon after making the Crepes we got to put Nutella , Strawberries & Bananas in our Crepes. After we had to clean up and wait in line for Miss Heka to pour some chocolate sauce and Ice Cream over our Crepes.

The Grinch 

The Grinch is a bitter, grouchy , cave - dwelling creature who hates Christmas. The Grinch is a tall skinny male with a rounded nose and green fur . In his cave he can hear the noisy Christmas festivals and music that take place in Whoville. The Grinch constantly gets annoyed with all the Christmas music and festivals they put on. He  wanted to go down to Whoville and steal the kids Christmas presents and food. 

Last week room 11 had to write about our favorite character in the Cat in the hat mine is the Grinch. We had to write about what they look like and what they act as in the Cat in the hat.
